Based on requirements outlined in the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act (SAFETEA), Madison Transit Systems (MTS) has embarked on a Coordinated Public Transit / Human Services Transportation Plan that focuses on the transportation needs of the region.
